How do I take a screenshot of a selected area?

Press the PrintScreen key (or your configured hotkey). A darkened overlay will appear on screen — select the desired area by holding the left mouse button. After releasing the button, the editor will open with your screenshot.

How do I change the hotkeys?

Right-click on the EXOBUS icon in the system tray and select "Settings". In the "Hotkeys" section, you can configure key combinations for different capture modes: selected area, active window, full screen.

Where are screenshots saved?

By default, screenshots are saved to the "Pictures/EXOBUS" folder in your user profile. You can change the save path in the program settings. Quick copy to clipboard is also available for instant pasting.

How do I add an arrow or text to a screenshot?

After creating a screenshot, the editor will open. Select the desired tool from the toolbar on the left: arrow, text, marker, rectangle, etc. Then draw the element on your screenshot. Color and line thickness can be adjusted on the panel.

The program won't start. What should I do?

Try these steps: 1) Restart your computer; 2) Run the installer as administrator; 3) Temporarily disable antivirus and repeat installation; 4) Make sure your system meets the requirements (Windows 7 or higher).

How do I blur part of a screenshot?

In the editor, select the "Blur" tool from the toolbar. Select the area you want to hide. This tool is useful for protecting personal data, passwords and other sensitive information.

Is the software free to use?

Yes, EXOBUS is completely free for personal and commercial use. All program features are available without limitations or subscriptions.

How do I auto-start the program with Windows?

Open program settings (right-click on tray icon → Settings). In the "General" section, check "Start with Windows". The program will automatically launch and run in the background.

What formats can I save screenshots in?

EXOBUS supports saving in PNG (default, with transparency support), JPG (compression with adjustable quality) and BMP (no compression) formats. The default format can be changed in settings.

How do I uninstall the program?

Open "Control Panel" → "Programs and Features" (or "Settings" → "Apps" in Windows 10/11). Find EXOBUS in the list and click "Uninstall". Follow the uninstaller instructions.
